Preakness Week marks the annual return of the Budweiser Clydesdales to
THE AVENUE at White Marsh. These magnificent horses arrive via police escort, parade down The Avenue, and post at The Main Plaza for photos. Their very informative handlers are available to answer visitors’ questions, as well. THE AVENUE provides the only location in Baltimore County where these animals are showcased. |

THE AVENUE at White Marsh every Halloween. Merchants join in the fun, dressing in costume, and distributing candy outside their stores, in the tradition of a Main Street venue. |

| THE AVENUE at White Marsh annual Tree Lighting Ceremony kicks off the holiday season with an evening of festivities including musical and street entertainment, giveaways for children, and even snow - all leading to the arrival of Santa to light our 35-foot tree. |

| In conjunction with the Tree Lighting Ceremony, THE AVENUE plays host to the White Marsh Holiday Parade the following morning. This premier event is the only one of its kind in the Baltimore County area and includes local government officials, media personalities, six local high school marching bands, street performers, mascots, dance troops, and much more. |
